Community

We are proud to be part of a thriving community.

Our Community Programme is an integral part of NWF.
Focusing on healthy living, sport, education and children, we engage with the local community on many levels. Here is how we are making a difference...

Field to Fork

Our Field to Fork educational tours for local school children are still going strong. Since 2008, over 1000 children have been on-site to learn about the journey their food makes from the field to their fork.

Charity Partner

We have a charity partnership with local children's hospice, Chestnut Tree House.  We support the charity through fundraising events, volunteering days, produce donations and the company will pay staff entry fees to events that are organised by Chestnut Tree House.

NWF pledges to match any funds raised by staff to support Chestnut Tree House and so far we've raised over £10,000!

Chichester Triathlon

NWF is delighted to partner with Everyone Active to sponsor the Chichester Triathlon. This two-day event has something for everyone and offers a wide range of activities to get involved for juniors and adults.

All NWF staff get free entry to take part and we are always set up at the finish line with fresh produce donations for the participants and those who have come along to support.

Employee Volunteering

Our Employee Volunteering initative is going strong!

All NWF employees are entitled to take one day's paid volunteering a year. Our HR Department spent their day at Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital to paint, clean, garden and look after the animals. We have also had teams spending their community days at the Brighton Ronald McDonald House, Chestnut Tree House and with the Manhood Wildlife Heritage.

Community Programme

Healthy living, sport and education are key to our Community Programme. We help sponsor Chichester Rugby Football Club, 5 Ways to Wellbeing and Chichester Priory Park.

Summer gets busy with donations of raffle prizes for fetes and thousands of bags of fresh produce for local events like the St Wilfrid's Hospice annual Moonlight Walk.
