We have a well-established wellbeing programme here at NWF. We focus on physical, mental and financial health because we know the impact these factors can have on our overall wellbeing. This year, however, we've really stepped up our support for mental wellbeing.
Our mental health advocates, led by our in-house occupational health adviser, are specially trained to listen and signpost to the right type of support available. You can easily spot one of our mental health advocates by their purple lanyard and they have organised tea and talk sessions at break times in the canteens.
We're able to rely on outside providers through our Employee Assistance Programme and our industry charity, Grocery Aid.
We've strengthened our communications plan and developed "The LEAFlet" that is designed purely to support overall health.
Through our regular feedback sessions and focus groups, we have heard many times that "our people make us who we are" and it's true. We look after each other by doing the right thing.
