Field to Fork Tour
Children from local primary schools spend the day with us and discover how salad is grown and travels from the field to their forks.
Children tour the farms and fields, where our experts are ready to answer questions and explain every aspect of the business, including; farming, manufacturing and our unique innovation kitchen, where the children make up their own bag of salad to take home.
At the end of the visit the children receive a free 'goody bag' to take home, which includes:
- Timeline of the field to fork process
- Salad and fruit recipe cards
- NWF Fact card
- Environmental fact sheet
- Bug identification leaflet with a magnifying card
- Watercress seeds to grow at home
